About UoSTEM@BU

We are the Undergraduate arm of the oSTEM chapter at Boston University. Here, we aim to propagate oSTEM's national mission by empowering LGBTQ+ undergraduate students who are studying or planning to study STEM to succeed personally, academically, and professionally by cultivating an environment and community that nurtures innovation, leadership, and advocacy. Any part-time or full-time student of Boston University who is academically involved in a STEM field is welcome to join our community!

UoSTEM@BU was founded in Fall 2018 in response to a need for community and professional development among the LGBTQ+ community of STEM students at BU. We believe in empowering students today so that they can empower the future of the LGBTQ+ community after they graduate.

If you are interested in joining our community, please contact us or come to one of our meetings! We hope to see you there!
